DALLAS SCOTTISH RITE MUSEUM & LIBRARY WEDDING

Makenzie & Sean’s wedding at Dallas Scottish Rite Museum & Library in Dallas TX last year was defiantly one for the books, and one night guests are sure to remember. I actually first met Makenzie in college during my Texas Tech days, and when she called me and asked for me to do the florals and planning for her big day I jumped at the chance!!

DALLAS SCOTTISH RITE MUSEUM CEREMONY

The day started off with their ceremony at First Baptist Dallas. As guests walked in they were greeted by gold framed signage and beautiful cream and gold programs. However, the primary focus of the church was the two large candelabras that flanked the altar and were filled with greenery and large white roses. This defiantly helped bring the outside in and who does not love candles!

DALLAS SCOTTISH RITE MUSEUM RECEPTION

Makenzie being a lover of all things floral, wanted the greenery and flowers to be the primary focus in the décor and created a neutral color scheme that made the florals pop in the space. The Dallas Scottish Rite Museum & Library created the perfect neutral and elegant background for the night. The venue has tall white walls and columns that are very ornate and defiantly added to the over the beauty of the wedding. As the wedding reception kicked off, guests enjoyed not one, not two, but THREE cakes, and as they danced the night away on the dance floor, were given a late night snack of milk and cookies (I mean come on who doesn’t LOVE cookies in the middle of the night!). As the evening came to an end, Makenzie & Sean walked down the gorgeous tall steps of the Dallas Scottish Rite Museum & Library while guests tossed coconut as they drove away in a white vintage car. It was the perfect conclusion to a perfect night 😊
