This celebration marked the 100th anniversary of Texas’s oldest windmill ranch—a once-in-a-lifetime gathering that brought the Morgan family and friends together from across the country. Designed as an immersive Western party that honored both the land and the ranch’s history, the evening unfolded across multiple seating areas throughout the property, including large teepees placed naturally into the landscape. Inside the barn—one of the family’s most cherished spaces—we intentionally highlighted, rather than concealed, its painted walls and layered history by surrounding them with seating, family memorabilia, and photographs spanning a century of life on the ranch. Guests enjoyed a true Texas feast, from a chuckwagon serving chicken fried steak to pizza and taco food trucks, Texas-inspired cocktails, and live music from two bands. With a dance floor stretching from the barn out into the open air, guests danced well into the night under the stars, surrounded by campfires, family, and a legacy 100 years in the making.
